A. Start by contacting a local suspension guru. Or give Dan Kyle a call. Discuss with them what you are looking for out of your bike and suspension and ask them to recommend a set-up. Once you have an detailed idea of what you are looking for (i.e. spring rates, internals, rear shock) search the forum. There is a pot 'o gold worth of suspension info on this forum.

14. When should I get my bike serviced? What will it cost?

A. Dealership service intervals are basically broken down like this:

600 miles, 7500 miles, 15000 miles. These are required for your warranty work. Your bike will still need to have an oil and filter change every 3500-4500 miles, depending on use. You can do this yourself, or have a dealer to it. It will cheaper at the dealer if you strip all the fairing yourself and truck the bike down there. When in doubt, refer to your owner's manual or contact your dealer.
