Perusing through the forums more replied to threads and came across this one.
My friends and I have a name for those flip-flop, shorts wearing riders... organ donors. I always wear my AGV jacket & gloves along with leather steel-toed boots and my Bell Star helmet on every street ride regardless of the Florida heat.. just jeans though with impact armor shorts underneath. (Need to get some dedicated riding pants in the near future) On the racetrack though it's my full Fieldsheer suit with back protector (not the little one that comes with the suit) impact motocross cushioned shorts and AlpineStars SuperTech boots with the same old, (very old) super-comfortable AGV Sport gloves I use for everyday riding. And whatever is the newest most badass helmet I own at the time.

ATGATT...Well, 99% of the time. i am guilty of going to lunch here and there (within town) in just sneakers, jeans, leather jacket, gloves & helmet. Otherwise it's 'proper' full gear head to toe.

Everytime I wear full gear it draws to much attention to the police. I get hassled way more in full gear than if I just wear jeans. Seems when in full gear even when not on the bike police think your going to be racing around. But there are so many squids on the road I don't blame them.

It's the organ donors doing stupid stuff they're typically chasing. I don't ride with anything less than Leather jacket, gloves and helmet, plus my Sidi's and something along the lines of dickies or jeans. If I'm out in the canyons or on the track, then I'm fully suited. |

I wore shorts and a t-shirt last week but only because I was dropping the bike off then going somewhere after that with my wife. Its only like 10 miles away.
I only own 1 pair of riding pants and after i wrecked once and tore them up, I just took them to my seamstress and she put them back together for me. I dont always wear gloves but when the rocks start hitting my hands, I remember why I should have. I legally have to wear a helmet, but I tried in AZ once and it was not all its cracked up to be. I always wear some kind of shoes. Usually my riding boots but if im riding to the gym I have wore my Vibram 5 finger shoes before. |

On a scale of 1-10, how much do you love bumping threads that started in 2006-2009?
