Default Advanced Dyno Tune Results

Sponsored Links
Finally received the EVR carbon airbox and installed it and the PC-5 last Sat. This Sat I got the full monty dyno tune at Redline in Yorktown VA. I think the results are pretty sweet for only slip-on Termi cans and a tune. Oh, and the EVR box.

170hp with 98ftlbs tq. Dyno sheet attached

The bike weighs 405 lbs full of fuel ready to ride.

just out of curiosity, what did the dyno tune cost you?

it would have been interesting to see the dyno tune before-and-after results -

$300 for the advanced tune. Basically all combinations of throttle/rpms/load. It was a lengthy process on the dyno and the Redline guys will swap out your tire/wheel with a "shop mule" to save your rubber from the dyno wheel.

The baseline flash-tuned run was 163/92, so the peak power came up quite a bit. However, the REAL improvement was the +18 lbft of torque from 4-6k rpms.

The numbers I posted for the tune baseline (stock) run were incorrect. When I went in for the "advanced tune" with the PC-5 after the EVR airbox install, it already had the Redline ECU flash "baseline" tune which is significantly better than stock. The flash-tuned but, "pre PC-V tune" numbers were 163/92 hp/tq. I updated the original post(s) above.

Anyway I've laid the baseline flash-tune graphs against the advanced PC-5 tune graphs for direct comparison. If you were to go in with the stock ECU / PC-5 and similar mods you should expect similar gains from the stock numbers (153/85).

153/65 to 170/98 that must be a night and day difference before and after the tune. in the ducati world of "performance parts" $300 is way cheap lol

Yeah, the SOTP is huge in throttle response and "pull", but the PC-5 was also ~$350!!! Let's see, that comes out to just about $650 for the tune...

Oh, the EVR carbon airbox was ~$2400 with tax, etc.!!!

The EVR is significantly larger interior volume with larger intake runners as well, but...
