Rear Wheel side nut: Lefty-Loosey, Righty-Tighty (55mm 12pt socket turning to LEFT or counter-clockwise to unscrew the nut and turning to RIGHT or clockwise to tighten the nut). Rear Sprocket side nut: the SAME |

Your bang on buddy
Keep in mind that some dealers put your rear wheel nuts UNGODLY tight. Mine were like that anyway, took a 3/4 in ratchet stepped down to the 1/2in for the special socket, and then a 4 foot cheater bar on the already giant ratchet to get mine off. Your rear wheel should be torqued on at ~150ft/lbs if memory serves me correctly. |

Thanks Drez. Still waiting on the 3/4" 12pt socket coming from NorthernTool.com. Later will revisit this thread with details on how I get the ungodly tight nuts to turn :]

I broke my craftsman 1/2 breaker bar the first attempt. after

That is for the 848. The 1198 is 170 foot lbs for the rear wheel.
