Default Turning directions on Rear wheel nut & Rear sprocket nut

Could someone please confirm this?

Rear Wheel side nut: Lefty-Loosey, Righty-Tighty (55mm 12pt socket turning to LEFT or counter-clockwise to unscrew the nut and turning to RIGHT or clockwise to tighten the nut).

Rear Sprocket side nut: the SAME

Your bang on buddy

Keep in mind that some dealers put your rear wheel nuts UNGODLY tight. Mine were like that anyway, took a 3/4 in ratchet stepped down to the 1/2in for the special socket, and then a 4 foot cheater bar on the already giant ratchet to get mine off.

Your rear wheel should be torqued on at ~150ft/lbs if memory serves me correctly.

Thanks Drez. Still waiting on the 3/4" 12pt socket coming from NorthernTool.com. Later will revisit this thread with details on how I get the ungodly tight nuts to turn :]

Get yourself a big piece of round pipe to stick on the end of your ratchet . Or if you have a 3/4 drive air ratchet that will take it right off too

That is for the 848. The 1198 is 170 foot lbs for the rear wheel.
