Default Tire cost/mounting

Need a rear for my 09 1198. About how much should a Supercorsa cost including mounting? Or how much should an authorized Ducati dealer charge to mount if I choose to go the mailorder route on a set of Michelin dual-compounds? Thanks for your suggestions.

Last time i got tires i paid 175 for the rear and 141 for the front these are pirelli diablo rosso supercorsa tires. i have a 848 so your rear tire price may be a bit more. mounting was 40 for both. I know the guy personaly. he kinda gave me a deal and i had to talk him down on labor. I work on his car so he didnt have much of a choice lol. the time before that i got tires from del amo motorsports. they pissed me off royaly. i bought the michelin pilot power 2ct's I had these on my honda and i liked them but will admit i didnt know how to ride then either. these tires are NOT good for a ducati. not enough grip espicaly after using the supercorsas. anyways they charged me for brake cleaner to clean off the adhesive redidue for the wheel weights and they didnt even clean it off. of course i didnt realize it at the time. just be mindfull of what they are charging you for. also they charged me $44 for mounting both tires and they took them off the bike and put them on. Good Luck!

Mich PP 2cts is all I ever ran on my 1098, and I loved them? Last 2X the SC. Just need to warm them before dropping the hammer

Yeah I'm with Stim on this one. I tossed the Pirelli's and have since been through several sets of Michelins from the Pilot to the Pilot Pure. I like the 2CT the best.

I am switching from my power pures to something with a harder carcus. I liked the power pures in Hawaii as it rains everyday but I am not a huge fan of the tire when it is dry. I have not decided what I am going to switch to yet.

Most dealerships will install the tire for free if you buy it from them. You save money on lobor but you pay a little more for the tire.

Default Tires

I could care less about post count. I posted in different areas to get a broader response. MOST replys were very helpful. My only posts have been inquiry's on bike maintenance or upkeep. Thanks. By the way...STFU.
