Default Crash protection

Hi there,

I recently got my Ducati 1198 2009. It's a great bike and I'd like to invest in some crash protection.

Changing the beautiful outlook of the bike is out of the question.

What would you suggest? What's your experience?

Thanks!

Ride safe,
Tony

speedymoto axle and underbody frame sliders, speedymoto waterpump housing, motovation or r&g bar end sliders- or the rizoma or woodcraft lever guards with sliders. the carbon swingarm covers look like a bunch of bling but they are a disposable peice that protacts your swingarm as well. there are also some carbon guards on the market for the corners of your tank, and some bumpers for your forks to keep them from bashing your frame when the little steering stops sheer off in a fall.

I would:

SpeedyMoto under body frame sliders, front fork sliders, rear swing-arm sliders

GB Racing or Woodcraft clutch cover (that thing is 500 or 600 new and it will get scratched up if you lay it down)

Then you need something to cover that little water-pump housing GB Racing or Speedy Moto ?

Could you recommend a concrete company for the swingarm and tank carbon protectors?

I saw some nice items for the swingarm produced by StreetFighters.it. They are said to be kevlar reinforced. Has anyone used them?

I would not get a carbon fiber swing arm cover to use as protection. If you lay it down the carbon fiber will be destroyed immediately. If you want it for the bling factor then that is a different story. No carbon fiber will help against the ground.
