Default Low Fuel Light

My low fuel light went out and as much as I love the exercise I get from pushing my bike to the nearest gas station, it is starting to get old. Anybody know how to fix this or have it happen to them? Thanks...

im not sure how to change out the light. ive taken my cluster apart once though and its not very complicated so i might try to see if you can figure it out. its pretty straight forward once you start...

until then set your odo and stop every 100-120 miles. that seems to be about what everyone gets on their 1x98's

Is that next to the exhaust bearings? Or the flux capictor?

You have 2 trip odometors. Set one for the fuel like the rest of us do. Even when those lights are functioning it's not a good idea to trust them too much...

I WISH!!! I barely make it 85 miles when my fuel light comes on but then again that could just be because of my style of riding lol

I have no idea how many miles i get to my tank which is slightly bigger than the stock one. I never bother to check i just fill up all the damn time haha but everyone seems to claim being able to get 100-120 miles before needing to fill up. That includes miles after the light turns on...

Thanks for the input guys. I'm not saying this is an everyday occurrence but the light went out about a year ago and of course every time it does run out of gas its when Im riding solo. I usually get about 100 miles and almost always fuel up before I head out. Thanks for the heads up on the thermistor Nyle, I'm going to call my dealership tomorrow and see about that.
