T-rex stands

Anyone bought/ used t-rex single-side stands? I am thinking about buying one, but wanted to see if anyone has had bad experiences with them.

I just got them but haven't had a chance to use them yet.
Everyone has bashed them because they bolt together but there are 3 bolts so the odds of all 3 failing is very slim.
I will trust my bike on them.
FYI-if you get black and save the $ they send you gold screws which looks stupid so just pony up the extra 5-10 and get gold.
Customer service from them is outstanding.

I have the rear stand, in gold, and I'm happy with it.
My bike has been sitting on it all winter, and feels very secure. Even with me sitting on it.
The new style stand allows you to lift the bike from the left or right, and has a wheel block bar to hold the wheel while you loosen or tighten the retaining nut.

The front of my bike is propped on a "Bikestands" tree-lift style stand which I've had for years.

My wife's bike (BMW F800s with single sided swing arm) is also sitting on trex stands front (tree-lift style) and back.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. Very good customer service and really fast shipping.

I've never had a problem with these stands.. my RSV sits on T-Rex's and my 848 front stand is a T-Rex.

fly817,

My understanding is that the bottom of each fork tube is to rest on one of the rubber bumpers, while the other bumper cradles the back side of the casting to lock everything in place.

You've never experienced any issues with your method? Sliding?
