HID Options for 848?
Can anyone tell me if there are any good options for HID headlights on the 848?
I'd really light to have some brighter lights on my bike.

^^^ Back ordered or discontinued, nobody has the motorcycle DDM kit. You are going to have to look up other manufacturers for a kit.

This set from Xentec is just as good as though ddmtuning set. I bought hi and lo beam for 1/2 the cost of ddmtuning. All the wires are waterproofed, and seem to be of good quality. I installed 35watt 6000k's and couldnt be any happier. in fact, Xentec's is the same exact kit as ddm's, just has a tubular ballast rather than credit card style. You need H11 bulbs, both are the same so it doesn't matter if you buy low or high beam. The install difficulty is relative to your skills and experience. It is pretty straight forward in my opinion. The hardest part is concealing the ballast and wires. I recommend taking the nose fairing off and go from there.
The website above is a bit overpriced. I got both side for $70 last year

The electrodes in the bulb where it connects to the bike are completely melted and chard. I am pretty sure that a new bulb will not plug into my connector it is that bad. I might start and new thread with pictures. HIDs are on their way.
