Hey Everyone, I had a question about bringing my bike up in 2nd gear using clutch, Whenever i try to do this it wont let me. It feels as if power cuts off. I clearly does cut off. I can do them in 1st gear using throttle and clutch but i would prefer bringing it up in 2nd gear using my clutch. Any ideas? Is it a slipper clutch?

Seriously?
On the Ducati Forum... Take your bike back to the dealership. You don't deserve a Ducati.

I'm not going to be the one to tell you never to wheelie your Ducati. But chances are if you have to ask how it's done you're better off not doing it.

Here is an acceptable forth gear wheelie on an 848...
This is from an average ride in my neighborhood.

Who asked how? Im non slip clutch. Makes sense thats why the power cuts off when you try to slip the clutch. If any of you know anything about riding a wheelie for a bit then you know the safest way to get it up is using your clutch.

Most of us have already done the childish Wheelie BS on other bikes. Now we own a Ducati for the riding enjoyment. We no longer have to show off on one wheel to get attention. All we have to do now is roll into the parking lot and everyone looks. Get a clue. ![]()
