I've read through a lot of the exhaust posts, but I haven't seen any specifically mentioning deep sound.
My friend's evo has the termis and I LOVE the deep sound. I'm not interested in a loud or raspy sound. I want a deep, throaty sound. How do the Akra, Leos, etc compare to the termis in this respect?

if you want loud and dont mind just having a slip-on check out these guys. Fender Eliminator Kits, Tail Tidy, Exhausts, Lighting, Turn Signals and Foot Pegs. Sport bike accessories made in the USA by Competition Werkes since 1984. some of the loudest that I've heard. I've got Leos on mine and love them

I don't mind loud as long as the sound is deep. Is the CW obnoxiously loud? And what do the Leos sound like? I've already checked youtube vids, but I don't think sound clear enough.

Um I wouldn't say that they're obnoxiously loud, but at idle they're very deep. I love the sound of my Leos very deep, I wouldn't trade them for a set of termis and quality is better IMO. Akra's sound really good and deep too although you really can't go wrong on a Duc it's going to sound deep pretty much no matter what, so basically it comes down to rider preference

you cant compare termis with anything else. i have the full termis on with the piping covered in heatguard cloth. everytime i park next to a biker i get questioned. there is a reason why termis cost 4k lol.

Akra and Leo build excellent systems and slip-ons. Go with carbon fiber as it has a deeper tone than Ti due to the material it's made of. Akra, Leo,Termi and Arrow build nice deep sounding mufflers.

Termis cost 4k because they know they can sucker Ducati owners into buying them. Do the research. Akra and FMF make better power and sound better. When I put a full Akra on my EVO, I routinely got complimented by guys with full Termis saying it was louder (they heard me coming up behind them at the track), looked better, and has better quality construction. Termis are garbage.

CW are obnoxiously loud and look suspiciously like someone soldered 2 soup cans together and jammed them on the back of a Ducati.

Just buy the 2 soup cans instead of CW...lol..it you want it loud...CW is a waste of money...
Akra for quality, but you'll need an ECU Zard has the deepest sound, no ECU needed Termis looks great with the newer design, expensive for slip-on but they come with ECU Leovince/Arrow sounds good.. MIVV also sounds real nice...I'd say MIVV and Zard have almost identical deep sound |
