live update! got the stock triple off. took a pic but no time to find host.

When you say red grease do you mean the red locktite?

What size are the little star nuts on the windscreen? Would sure make it easier to had that thing off. At first glance they look like 1 or 2 mm allen but look with a glass and they are non standard star nuts? Wasn't mentioned earlier in thread, but good know.

Locktite is not grease.......it's to lock the thread...

Red grease is common on heavy machinery..Is just normally a better quality grease and not so generic type (if that make sense)

Windshield is TORX T7

I use Super Tech. Red grease is a high pressure, high temp. multi purpose grease. Can be found at Wal-Mart for about $6-7.

Got it installed last night! Love the look of it and feels great although I think my clip-ons arent angled evenly so I'll have to fix that after work (one is more inward that the other one)
