Traction control is off and i have abt 1000 miles on her, if i let off the throttle then easy back on it shes fine. Any ideas what is causing this? I have heard so many things it could be like the ecu, some exhaust flap, bad gas, etc. The dealer just did the 600 mi servi e and they said the bike is running great.

Thanks for the help.
it's a new engine...chill and learn how how to not open the throttle impulsively just because you have a duc

May I suggest not to ride it like an electric scooter. If you want that burst from going slow in traffic, be in the right gear and keep the revs up to start with.

Don't ride these bikes like its a bad screw, its a very sexy beast and likes to be manhandled smoothly.

If you want to rocket of from low speeds be in the right gear.
Try pulling the clutch in and sweet talking her a bit, then tell everyone about her flat spots, she will just get embarrassed and probably kick you of like a hot bitch would if you insulted her tits.

This bike is derived from the race track not traffic noobs that want to show off.

Or get a GSXR

New termis + ecu will make a difference and it will be more responsive as everyone describes the upgrade to be,I had them installed from the start, it runs smoother and could hear the difference on the showroom floor.

Have only just got this bike and these are just my insights on the vehicle from first experience and basic logic on what I have read.

I love this Ducati 848 evo

Ride safe and with respect buddy.

I love this bike, rides like a dream and it just has so much power.... The reason i asked my question was because i wasn't sure if it was a problem with the bike or me being a noob (clearly me being a noob). I have been getting exponentially better the more i ride, I'm glad the weather is finally starting to warm up so i can ride her into work everyday. I have a 50mile highway commute and boyyyyyy does it not suck anymore!!!!

Thanks for the tips everyone. Looks like i just need more time on the bike to learn.

I don't think exhaust or an ecu will help what he is talking about. It's not the rough running under 4k. If the motor is at to low of an rpm and you roll the throttle all the way to wide open it sputters like it is going to die out. The motor just doesnt like to be force fed fuel it's not an i4 so you do have to learn to ride it a little different. Keep the rpm up little less twist on the wrist at low rpm and you will be all set.

This is why you see so many 14T sprocket and ECU tuning threads.
Read up. You will see the universal issues with these untuned out of the box bikes and how to make those adjustments that make it easier to live with day to day.

I have a 14t sprocket and an ecu tuned and it still does it. It's 2 different situations.

Yeah, my issue was i was flooding the engine with too much gas at low RPM and it didn't like it. Haven't had a problem with the bike at all (nock on wood).
