Default Question for you VDST Pros

Is the single user version for 59M Ecu's compatible with 5AM Ecu's? My buddy has one for his 999 and we were using it reset my TPS on my 848 but the span in the software is showing a max throttle of like 55 deg or so. Should be 84.5 according to the TPS reset procedure from Centurion that accommodates basically all Mag Mar Ecu's. Went through the reset procedure, showed "passed" and showed 4.5 deg with throttle closed & engine running. Engine off, ignition on, full throttle showed 55 deg instead of 84.5.

Checked voltage at zero throttle in the PCV software: 1.165V Seem reasonable?

I had a bunch of issues setting the PCV up and it may have been a bad connection to the TPS wire. I used my own tap before I realized I had an extra posi-tap that they supplied with the autotune. Thoughts?

Shouldn't work different ECU all together!

If I remember correctly, the 5AM is just a more advanced version of the 59M. I am not surprised the VDST works. In fact, I have the 5 AM version and I have used it on my 04 749 successfully (59M). Can't say I understand why it stops at 55 degrees though.

Why dont you check the tps voltage at full throttle. I believe you should see approx 4-4.5v. This can help determine if its the SW or an issue with the tps. If its not the SW Id imagine you'll have somewhere in the 3v range which could explain only a 50% throttle opening.

Interesting. So you reset your throttle on the 749 and it was still able to make the full span to 85 deg?

It measured 3.95 or so volts in the PCV software as max. Not sure exactly where it's supposed to be. I think I'm going to order another TPS just to play it safe until I get my hands on the VDST or the ducatidiag cables.
