Only problem is they tend to rather fast and have a really good torque range otherwise alot of fun

Damn! Somebody in the UP has been doing some serious commuting on that thing. Just hit 15K on my '09 and have loved every minute of it. Good news is I can't imagine a high demand where you are so the price could get even lower.

it looks like its at a dealership of some sort but the price is low compared to NADA and KBB so im keeping a skeptic eye on it. hoping to be able to cover most of it with a trade of my BMW R1100S but we will see after i ride up there to check it out.
*what is considered high mileage for these bikes?* Last edited by gatzked; July 17th, 2012 at 12:55 AM. |

I'm far from an expert but it's funny how the guys I rode with -- who are not on Ducs -- are so impressed that I've got 15K. Meanwhile, there's a thread here / another forum where the OP just hit 200K on a Monster. I'd say that 10K per year is closer to "high mileage" but of you maintain the bike well it could/ should last a looooonnnnngggg time.
