Hi guys,
I just added full system headers to my termi slip on kit and boy, what a positive difference! I only have the slip-on ECU and filter so my makeshift solution has been to turn up the AFR on my fatducs. Bike runs great, no flat spots but I do want to get my stock ECU reflashed to the DP full/race ECU specs so I can ditch the O2s and the fat ducs altogether, as well as tune the AFR across the full band. Without paying $300 for a tuner to do it, can this be done for cheaper using ducatidiag? I want to keep the DTC and DQS functions on the Corse.

YEs but you have to pay for the full Ducati Diag license and then tell them what map you want during purchase. Of course once you have the license you can change the map, but the ducati diag guys have most maps already especially the DP ones.
Full license is like 150 bucks for life

It's 100 euros to write as many times as you want to one ECU. You can also reset the TPS, check fans, adjust speedo...although don't play with that on the corse. The DTC might not work properly. I had the DP Termi map and I'm thinking about going back to stock, it doesn't seem to help much. A member here says he spent hours getting the 848 to run smooth all the way though the rpm range and will flash yours for $200, I'm thinking about having it done because I don't like the way this one runs when it gets hot.

I guess I am asking if its because of writing with the ducatidiag software or the map itself.

Well I don't have an air filter yet but I don't think that would have much to do with how rough it runs at 4k and a little bit at 5k then smooths out. For what they charge for a ECU I'm not impressed. The bike ran better with the stock map and the CW cans. I think it sounded better as well. Termingoni has a name but I'm not impressed so far. I know it runs rich down low because I can smell the unburnt gas at idle but I need to pull the plugs and see what they look like now that I have a few hundred miles with these slipons. Btw these are the newer style cans that are shorter and less back pressure.

Hey guys,
Update on this - I sent my stock ECU out to a vendor in Germany to get reflashed to the DP full system ECU. It should be here next week and I am looking forward to ditching the O2s and the DP slip-on ECU. Question: Does "reflashing" the stock ECU to full system maps mean the ECU will now let me edit the fuel trim via VDST? I know the stock ECU as well as the slip-on ECU do not allow editing of fuel trim (the function was disabled) because they utilize the O2 sensors. I guess another way of asking the same question - does "reflashing" make the stock ECU a DP full system ECU or is there more to the ECU logic that the stock ECU will not have even after reflashing?

On all 848 EVO's I do believe the full DP system still used the 02, I read that from of the vendors here...now if I could remember were I would put the link...
