Just put them on. Can't get one of the springs to extend far enough to hook on to the pipe so I'll need to get a tool for that. I removed the db killers. Lol. The idle is almost too loud but going through the rev range I think it sounds nice
Not sure if I'll put the db killers back on. Have to ride it first.

I love the Akra's they look awesome! Does the spring not stretch far enough at full extension?
Leave the DB's out, i've got Arrow slip-ons and ridden next to an 848 with Akra's and theyre both similar with the db killers out and they sound amazing..! I take detours sometimes just to ride through narrow streets, everybody turns around and thumbs up haha... cringe that it makes me smile in my helmet buuut damn i love my bike

That's a weird angle from behind.... Is everything straight on that bike?

I got the Titanium and I simply love it! The sound is wicked and the groggling on lower speeds turns heads like no other bike.
As for the spring, if you're trying to use your bare hands to extend it then I hope you used to milk cows cause it's hard. use a pair of needle nose pliers and grip the "J" part and push through with your body weight (make sure you have a firm grip on the "J" part and that should do it. |

I know it looks funny from behind but I think that's because the bike is on the kickstand and I'm standing at an off-angle and probably holding my phone and a strange angle too

I have an 848 Evo dark stealth...I'm looking to get the Arrow Dark Line slip on's. Two questions for you... 1. Did you install them yourself? If so, did you have to take it into the dealership to have them tweak/flash the ecu or anything of the sort? 2. The DB killers, can one take them out and then put them back in? How does one remove them? Thanks |

I can do a video tomorrow. They idle so loud! They make a great noise though especially when you go through the rev range from a low rumble under 6k to a v-twin style scream up top. It's nice.
