Holy shit that is fucking awesome! I usually don't go for the former superbike turned into a naked thing but this thing is just plain freakin gorgeous

Hi all, new to the site. I've been considering doing a streetfighter conversion on my '03 999. The bike isn't being ridden much, because around here, my supermoto's are more smiles per mile.

Thought about selling it and getting something different, but I love the bike except the ergo's.

Spiegler has conversion kits, but not for our bikes. The biggest hurdle is the upper triple. What have you guys used?

Thanks for any input.

Well I came up with a workable starting platform. Picked up a Mad Duc upper triple, Speedymoto monster bar clamp and Renthal Fatbars.

I could have used the Spiegler conversion, but wanted something different. I need to get this mounted, then I can see what I need to get my controls right.

Bailed on the Speedymoto risers. Didn't look right, so I found some Oberon 20 deg raked risers that finally came in. Drilled and machined the web for the M10 hardware. Nabbed an Evoluzione throttle tube on the cheap today:) Now i need to sort out the controls.

Samco hoses, PSR clutch slave, and 41T DP sprocket installed. Other bits to come......

I made a stainless overflow tank today. Still need to rig up some tabs and a pick-up tube. Cut some holes in the cam covers. Going to paint them VW black magic pearl from a bumper job I did a few months ago.

Also put an EK chain on it.

I love projects like this. This is why this site is cool; people doing stuff outside of the norm while keeping the good taste and minimalist style that makes Ducati what it is. Bravo!

Any asshole can add a turbo kit to a Hayabusa and say they have a custom bike.:jerkoff:
