Boulder Motor Sports

I called Bryan (303-495-3416)

Prices:
  • Adj suspension for my weight: No charge
  • First srvc at 600 miles: $600.00
  • Oil Change: They use Motul 300V Synthetic Racing Oil = $300 (Oil change including parts and labor / every 3000 miles)
  • Other srvc intervals very 7500 miles: $1200 Adj timing belt every 2 yrs or 15000 miles: $350.00
  • When I purchase the bike ask for the Dyno break in.
  • Ducati says not to rev it over 5000 rpms. until the first srvc. He doesn't advise that to the customers.
  • Ducati exhaust full system : Around $3500 with ECU
  • If I buy my own exhaust and ECU: install exhaust and Dyno Adj ECU for the new exhaust: Like 6 hours Labor ($80 dollars per hour labor)
  • Install fender eliminator: Like 1 hour labor ($80.00)
Ducati 1198 Warranty is 2 year unlimited mileage.

John,
Thanks again for the contact. Bryan is a great guy.
Yep, those are the same numbers that he quoted me. For that $1200 service, he also does several things that are not called for on the official Ducati checklist, but he's found them to be necessary for long-term durability and reliability.

BMS is definitely good folks for sure.

This spring when it gets warm enough to ride, be sure to drop by Mile High Gliding on the north side of the Boulder airport. I'm the manager there & I'll hook you up with a glider airplane ride if you want.

Cheers,

John

That sounds super cool. Do I have to wear some diapers for the flight? What do you think? Should I also buy my bike at Boulder Motorsports?
Take care,
Newt

Negative on the diapers.

BMS is an independent Ducati service outfit. I'm not sure if they sell any bikes or not, but I don't think so. I know they're not a dealership, so no new bikes for sure.

JMO, but I wouldn't consider any dealership in this area other than Northern Colorado Euro in Loveland. I always deal with Jeff there, but they're all good folks.

Best wishes,

John
