Even at $1,946.00 it's insanely expensive.

For that matter even at $946.00...

Jeez.....

Not really - at $2,000 it would represent reasonable value. You can be sure that the stock tank for the SP/Corse will be more than that.
My ETI Kevlar tank cost me about $1,800 (AUD) by the time it was painted. It's lighter, and holds more than the alloy tank, but I don't know how it would survive a crash. It's VERY light.

Maybe it would cost a few thousand less if you could get it without the hardware LOL.

I feel like ducati should put the aluminum tank on all the superbikes. They would problably save money from all the the expanding gas tanks that they have to replace.

It's not just Superbikes. DNA replaced the fuel tank on my S2R under warranty. It distorted so bad, I couldn't get the lever to unfasten to swing the tank open, like many others I'm sure. Dealer told me the tank would cost about $1800 USD to replace out of warranty.
