My current numberboard on my 748 nose is flaking and the laquer coming away as well as numerous stone chips. I've decided to fill, sand and make good as possible and fit a new numberboard over the top. I ordered the numberboard over the internet but on arrival today, it's to small. Not for the nose but the orgibal numberboard is a weee bit bigger. Therefore I now have a nose covered in filler and a numberboard that is too small.
Any ideas on where to go? I'm thinking of re-spraying the whole nose but just for the sake of it on an otherwise perfect nose?? It's not worth it. Any ideas would be much appreciated

Depends how big is a Wee bit? Use a pin stripe, you can buy them at most automotive shops up to 16mm wide, in most colours. Wrap one of them around it

Good thinking!! The board isn't the same profile as the original so don't think it'll work but I'll certainly look inti it. |

Take it to a nearby vinyl shop...they can fix you up for cheap, and use the proper thickness of vinyl.
