Default Any Idea .............

How much a brand new set of Marchesini wheels off a Tri Colore would fetch on open market? Anyone know what retail cost for them is? Obviously, its not as easy to find as all the other DP parts, etc. Many thanks!

Maybe some of you know where I am going with this question.

Gunny,

I would say about $1500-2000 would be a reasonable price for the set.

They are about $3000ish new.

The march's on the Tri are the forged aluminum which go for $2300 a pair so $1500 is more than reasonable for a slightly used pair.

Nice! I was trying to recall if it was $2300 for the pair or if that was the cost of just the rear. Thanks for clearing that up!

Default Wow!

hey thanks alot gents! I saw another post where the guy was asking $1500 but not sure what he settled for. Actually my dealer asked to buy them which may be the way to go since he's getting me the BST's on a cost deal. Guess if I can get $1500 from him it would offset the carbon wheels good.

I know the stock wheels are shit hot and I should keep them, but I cant stop staring at these shiny carbon BST's! Its like gazing at a lonnnnnng pair of legs you just can't seem to look away from (or other pronounced female body part-sorry ladies just think of it other way around) You have to admit that carbon wheels are a sweet add on to a hot ass bike, no? Hope this link works.........

The BST's are def nice. Nothing wrong with the forged aluminum but the CF is lighter and as you described....sweet!!

Just posted another thread on Panigale forum about carbon vs the magnesium wheels. Obviously these are lighter than the forged ones but not the carbon. They even have a gold set that may look pretty cool with the Tri paintwork.

Would love to hear feedback from folks who had both and see what their pro & con list looks like for these!
