What to buy in the future?

So what would be the better buy a 1299 superleggera, the 1408, or should we wait for the v4? Exclude stuff like collectible value, and limited edition garbage. Which would you get and why?

The 1408 is the 1299 SL and despite having a deposit on one myself I still think the new V4 would be a better buy and I don't think I'm planning on getting one.

Just buy a 1299 now . The SL is a great bike but not worth the extra $$$$ over a standard 1299 .
Then wait and see what the new bike is like if its great off load the 1299 without losing too much .

Not sure why kept thinking these were 2 different bikes? Oh well thanks for the correction. I'm looking forward to the SL review next week on Top Gear. The program isn't all that great but I'm happy they are doing some bikes now.

If you're not without a bike now, I would say wait for the V4. If you have no bike; it's summer time.... you're gonna want a bike. Can't go wrong getting an SL

Yeah I was gonna pull the trigger on a 2016 Ape but decided to wait to see what was coming up. I think it's still available.
