Just checked my receipt - the connector cost me $6.60.

It came with a few inches of wiring.

Headlight Connector Lock

Hello,

I seem to have lost the small lock that secures the connector to the headlight. It is the one on dead center of the headlight right in the middle of it.

I have no idea how to track it and have it replaced.

I looked in the IPC and Wiring diagram and could not find it not even the connector part number.

Any help will be appreciated.

It is a Ducati 848

Thanks,

Are talking about what secures the light in place inside the headlight mount?

Just went through this exercise last week. Replaced the Bulb and Bulb Holder.

Halogen Bulb 12V 55W H11 $NZ7.95
Bulb Holder H11 $6.96
Shipping $NZ4.00

Stripped the wires back and used an electrical connecting block (incase I have to do it again).

If anyone has trouble finding any of these at a reasonable price - PM me.

seen this alot in automotive- a little corosion in the connection creates resistance, resistance causes heat and viola- you have a crusty burnt connection- use dielectric grease on the connectors to save you from future headaches.
