Third test will show more, at least been like that for the last few years.

Seems like Stoner is really strong, doing low amounts of laps and fast.

I think from results up to now Spies will be a rider to keep an eye on.

You guys make very little sense. I can't see how the introduction of a twin spar frame makes it any less of a Ducati than it already was.

What's next?

When the new rev limits negate the use of pneumatic valves and desmodromics it'll then be a UJM or Dujapi as X puts it.

WSBK will be the only real Ducatis left.

Let me ask a question...

...WHAT defines a Ducati to you (..or any other individual who wants to answer for that matter)? To me, the frame is inconsequential, and wasn't AT ALL factored into my decision to purchase a Ducati. I would wager that for most people, Ducati's are loved because of their distinctive sound and motor characteristics, and to a lesser degree, style. I have never heard a Ducati owner say, "I just love my Ducati because of its Trellis frame, lack of frame, etc."

An L twin mounted to a tubular chassis.....or some kind of v configeration mounted to a tubular or CF chassis.

Its a traditional thing....those things work, well apart from CF chassis.

Ducati has allways been different, conforming is not desirable.

I believe the key is the L or V twin, not necessarily the tubular chassis. That's just my opinion though.

Ducati remains different, but where racing for pride in a prototype class is concerned, ANYTHING and EVERYTHING goes. I don't fault Ducati one bit for doing what it takes to make a winning bike. Hell, Honda went through a number of frame designs and changes last season, but people fail to mention that.

Bland is bland no matter what.

Most of us couldn't give a tinkers cuss about Hawnda.

And the prototype class as we knew it is currently having the zip slowly done up on the body bag as we discuss this.

That's probably the reason why they stir the pot. Without that stirred pot, nobody is interested in HRC.
