For those that weren't there, the first meet and greet went great. We were able to discuss what we needed and most of all everybody got to meet one another. We are in no rush to appoint positions yet, we are first wanting to get the wheel rolling and then once the wheel is rolling we will appoint positions, we are also waiting for everybody to be able to come to a meeting. I think its safe to say that we all had a good time today and loved having our ducs on the road. It is going to cost us around $50 annually for us to have our own website, which I think we are going to take a donation up at the next meeting so that we can create our website. We also have Wade looking into a company that he knows of for the tee-shirts, and what not. We are still working on the By-Laws which will take some time to complete but we are still working on it. I am going to create an excel spread sheet with every bodies contact info on it, if I do not have your contact I will be shooting you a PM. Take care, and for those who are deployed stay safe.

Had a great time today guys. Really nice meeting all of you and we look forward to the next ride. Had a scare on the way home. We stopped as we were leaving town to gas up for the ride home and Shane noticed my tire had belts/wire showing. We decided to ride and observe. So every five to ten miles we pulled over and checked it. We found that several new places were developing where the rubber was cracking through but no new exposed wire. Took it nice and slow (boring) and finally made it home in one piece. Time to go tire shopping!

Glad to hear yall had a good time and that you were able to make it home safe and sound. New tires huh, looks like we will have to hit the mini dragons tail in your area to make sure your able to give them a proper break in.....I run Dunlop Qualifiers and I really like them, but you can also never go wrong with the Pirelli's. It was great meeting both you and Shane, I look forward to our next ride.

Online club stores. I've looked at what our RC club has. http://www.cafepress.com/wmfc I've looked at the cafepress home page. http://www.cafepress.com All we do is: 1.Sign up for our own "storefront". 2.Prepare and upload our artwork/photos. It appears each product has a specific template that the artwork has to conform to. Also, black products are mentioned as requiring special artwork prep for good results. 3.Pick the merchandise that we want to offer. 4.Set the price above their "base" price if the club wanted to receive the "markup" as profit. This is assuming we could even do that depending on our legal position as a club. 5.Have a grand opening party!
