Hello All !
Thanks for viewing my post!
I have been dying to get a SC1000, found one that has caught my attention, and have persuaded myself to work a second job just to have it! But now, as I sit, I come to ask anyone with expertise, is it worth it?

The bike is a 2006 SC1000 , heavily modded.
They are asking $16999(at the dealer), I will try to negotiate a lower price, but want to know whats it worth.

Thanks from Las Vegas.
Yuri

"2006 Sport 1000 with the dual shock conversion and over $20,000 in parts and accessories added to the bike! This was a fun build and the bike turned out phenomenal! With only 5,226 miles this bike is ready to roll for a few thousand miles without any maintenance costs. We have replaced the battery, performed the 6K Service, and installed a brand new set of tires which is value at $1,300! We also have over $500 in powder coating to set off the look and color scheme of the bike. Don t think about this one it will be gone before you know it! Here is the parts brake down: Speedymoto Top and Bottom Triple Clamps $1,150 Speedymoto Frame Sliders $150 Speedymoto Front and Rear Axle Sliders $130 Speedymoto Clip-Ons $295 Speedymoto Clutch Cover $200 ISR Brake and Clutch Master Cylinders $1,200 Rizoma Mirrors $240 Rizoma Bar Ends $ Ohlins Front Forks $3,600 Ohlins Rear Shocks $1,800 Ohlins Steering Damper $665 Braking Wave Rotors Front and Rear $1,100 Ducati Performance Carbon Fiber Front Fender $350 Ducati Performance Foot Pegs $200 Ducati Performance Carbon Fiber Belt Covers $380 Ducati Performance Race ECU $1,300 Ducati Performance Race Filter $70 Ducati Performance Fender Eliminator Kit $160 Ducati Performance Sprocket Cover $140 Ducati Performance Inspection Cover $50 Marchesini Light Alloy Wheels $2,500 Brembo Radial Calipers $800 Akrapovic Full System GP Exhaust $1,800 MPL Pressure Plate $215 MPL Spring Kit $65 SuperSprox Rear Sprocket $180 DID Gold X-Ring Chain $250 Evoluzione Slave Cylinder $180 PIAA Horn $45 Lightech Gas Cap $165 Billet Wheel Spacer kit $200."

I've seen this bike if I had a bit more spare change in my pocket. I'd be on it. Maybe a bit overpriced not sure. But again I'd be all over it.

fair price for it, but those are $1200.00 forks not $3600.00 forks, many of those prices are very very very inflated... its more like a 12K-14K bike

Yea, it's definitely a fine slice of sweetness. Inflated just enough, to scare anyone though. I'm still on the fence with the bike, although I have been exchanging emails with the dealer. It would be a 1400 mile trip just to pick the bike up.errrr have to love clouded-impulsive - tendency judgement.
Thanks for the input!
