Given that the Streetfighter uses the same motor but has about 15hp less, with slightly less efficient aerodynamics I would expect it to have a top speed of around 250-260kmh. Choose a good safe place if you plan to test that!
250-260k's?...dont feel so bad about my 848 only doing 230kph (full noise in 5th ) now...cool!!

I have not taken mine faster than 245 because the wind blast just gets rediculous at those speeds. The bike is still pulling quite hard at those speeds even.

If top speed is your game, there are many better bikes. One plus, 230kmh on the SF feels like about 300kmh on a full sportbike!
Jebus A Christo, not another damn Canadian!

Welcome new guy.

Here is what mine topped out at on a dyno, so the speed is accurate. 163mph is how fast it can go in a perfect world with no wind resistance. This bike gets no benefit at speed from ram air, so it does not really have the ability to make more power the way a superbike can.

So 163mph, and the speedo said around 175mph, so you can calculate the error rate from that.

Is the horsepower limited in first gear like my old gixxer 1100's with the anti-wheelie wire? One snip of the wire and the fun began.
