Depending on which day you are finalizing for LA, check out the various club websites for activities. I'm sure you will be able to find at least 1 or 2 days where local guys are doing something and you can join them or at least use their plans for your own route.

Ducati Riders Club is very active out here, as is SoCal Sport Twins, along with various other groups. Go to Do something, Learn something, Share something, Change something - Meetup and type in Los Angeles for location and motorcycle as interest or something and go from there.

Nah, most of it looks like snot on rice. It's too hard to find quality.

For burgers, I would recommend Five Guys, The Counter, In-N-Out, Apple Pan, and Umami. Brazilian BBQ, go for M Grill located in Koreatown. Also try all the different Korean BBQ joints there. I can go on for days about all the good ones. Definitely get some steaks at Fleming's and Morton's. Seafood at the Water Grill, then at any of the piers by the beach for fresh steamed lobster and clams. If you are in Malibu, get the grilled sea bass at the Malibu Seafood Market off PCH. You can really gain some weight in LA.

Damn, all the recommendations, I wish I could change my trip to a 2week stay, hire a Diavel/monster for a week and just ride, eat good food and enjoy the scenery......

As for Chinese food.....no way!
I will be after good steak, burgers and ribs....

Haha, I hear ya, mate. When I was in Asia for a month, I about died from withdrawals and ended up curling up in the corner in a fetal position mumbling about steaks, fries, doritos, oreos, etc.

Another amazing burger is portillo's in buena park. It's a chicago based shop with one hell of an amazing italian big beef sandwhich. The burgers are even better. 5 guys is a close 2nd for a quick burger. Portillo's burger is bigger and not quite as fast food.
