Pressure plate damage question

Hello, I'm pretty new on this forum, but i have been lurking for a while.

This is off an 2011 1198sp.

I was taking my pressure plate off and noticed this scoring. What could cause this damage? Is this normal

Also. when I removed my clutch pack, the first piece i pulled out was a metal shim, and not a clutch plate.

Is this normal, or is a friction disc supposed to be the first plat out?

What brand clutch do you have?

Is this a new trend, people starting a thread with a problem, but never return to respond when members try to help them out?

See this on lots of forums... The posters may be BOTS trying to ensure they have some credibility by making a few actual posts.
Alternatively, (I suspect this is the case here) people post while drinking and then don't need the help when they work on their bike later when they are sober.

Somehow this made me laugh, thanks.
