1098 immobilizer

Hi everyone,
Im fairly new to this site but I just recently purchased a 1098 track bike and looking to get some info on this beast. Well to start the bike currently has a DP ecu and a power commander so I'm not looking to purchase an aftermarket ecu and I'm trying to delete the immobilizer through the ecu as Im wanting to chop the wiring harness and remove as many unnecessary wires/parts as possible as this is going to be a track only bike. Im looking to ditch the key completely and just use a toggle switch for startup. On my S2R 1000 I was able to us tunerpro to change the immobilizer bit, but for the 1098 with a dp ecu I'm having a hard time finding a XDF with an immobilizer flag. I went through the hex codes on the bin to compare which bit should be the immobilizer but I want confirmation before I load a bin and mess something up. If anyone can chime in and help me through this that would be much appreciated. I can upload my bin file if someone could look at it or just tell me the hex bit for the immo.

To my knowledge, the immobilizer on 1098/1198 models is built in to the instrument cluster.

Immo is indeed in the dash, but you can disable the check in the ecu.

Did you try to disable it with TuneEcu?

Which *.xdf are you using?

If you can post both or pm xdf and bin I can have a look at them.

I’m using tunerpro with a Guzzidiag xdf. I’ll post the bin and xdf when I get to my computer.

Nevermind, I don't think you'll be able to open that. I changed the bin to a txt file but its 320 KB and It'll only let me upload files up to 19.5 KB
