long trip advice

I am going on a long trip to tail of the dragon in July. Going to be about 600 miles. I ride an 1198 an was wondering what everyone uses to hall gear. I usually get about a 100 miles before I need to get gas so no need for hydropack in my opinion. Also not really wanting to wear a back pack if that can be avoided. It is going to be a 4 day trip but I am going to pack light.

I use a Ventura bike pack on my 1198 (https://ventura-bike.com/). Various sizes are available. Not the most aesthetically pleasing luggage system but works well IMHO. Sits securely behind the rider - doesn't move around or increase the width of the bike when filtering/lane splitting.
