Just remember there are a couple different dynos that are made and no 2 will ever read the same. Not to mention other factors such as air temp, density and so on. I am still thinking the only way to make that is what a few others have said, forced induction. Anyway, can't wait to see what is done and some power figures.

good luck, should be interesting,

I have full termi exhaust, PC III, BMC filter and a custom
map made by a racing team specifically for my bike and I barley got 163 HP and 90.25 torque

oh and my bike is a 1098s 08. so if you see some surprised at your statment, you
shouldn't be shocked, gonna book mark this thread.

That's an extremely reasonable dyno result for the 1098S.

Again, the superbikes will push 200-210 on that same dyno, but with constant tear downs.

The chances that this guy knows someone and has the budget to build a superbike engine is zero.

Damn Demon. 163hp is a really nice figure you got. I just know that on average with a full system and the DP ECU these bikes push 150+/-. I have to get the PC for sure. I know the new PC5 is coming out and it is supposed to be comparable to the Nemesis. How comparable I don't know. Hopefully someone will get one before I do and then we can find out.

Hey, might have T-Roy for a close buddy. Couple of years ago he was hitting 215 MPH in testing in Malaysia. Might get 200 mph instead of HP with some crazy gearing changes.
Without some serious money and parts, that engine can't make it. Nitrous+ Turbo+ con-rods and forged pistons: No problem. Supercharger, sure enough, But not with standard breathing. Grenade the engine is what will happen without big dough thrown at the motor. Mr. Turbo sells a few kits for IL 4's that will hit those HP numbers. Looks like we have ourselves a bet on. Vegas Style!!

A custom map is a must for this bike, every bike is different,
and without the map is it getting bottlenecked.
I though the same as you before that I might not need the PCIII since I have the DP ECU
but I was wrong for sure, pre-map figures is with
the DP ECU and after map is a huge difference.

Not sure about the PC5 but as we discussed it
in the past, it will not be compatible with the current
1098 models, you can install it however on the 1198
models.

No one is going to get 200hp out of a 1098 or 1198. If you think you are you are being scamed. Troy baylis's bike is putting out a claimed 195 at the wheel, that is claimed. You can fudge the dyno correction factors to get higher numbers but that does not mean your bike is really making that. I also have never seen a custom advanced mapped 1098 with a Akrapovic or Termignoni exhaust make more than a true 155hp on the dyno. Thinking that you will get 200hp is like thinking that you can spend 2 trillion dollars and get out of a recession.

Ha! Please. All of the 1098RS's are putting out over 200, sorry to say but if you looked at what superbike spec Suzuki's, Honda's and Yamaha's are putting out then you'd realize that if Troy's bike was putting out 195 he'd be having a lot harder time in a straight line against those other bikes. Watch any WSBK race and you'll see that's not true at all. Don't forget the 1098RS's WEIGH MORE BY RULE!

And it's not power band, they move down the front straights rocking the quick shifter in the power band all of the time.

Sorry, but my 06 GSX-R superstock bike was laying down 180 hp and the 07 was 190 at the wheel. Believe me that Ducati's 1098RS is several orders of magnitude better built than a privateer 06/07 Suzuki.

It seems like you visit allot of chain store shops to get the work
on your bike, that is ofcourse if you own the bike and have done the work
I done on mine. also with minor observation you can see the conditions the
bike was reran on the dyno, it was hotter more humid and still numbers
were good, have it been cooler weather it will get well over 163.
no claim here of 200 hp, but I think your blowing hot air.

While I agree with the first part, it been dynoed at the shop and I also
ran the dyno at another in a different state. numbers
are solid, if you haven't seen it, it does not mean
it cant happen.
