mate you were never gonna get good service from someone 3500 miles away, they know you can't walk in and give it to them

Funny, amongst my research in buying this bike, was research the dealers. This dealer was definitely in the top ten, nationwide for the entire U.S. It's service tech is the #1 in the U.S., so at least I know it was set up right. They answered all my questions, unlike anything local, and gave me a price that we both felt reasonable, also unlike the locals.

Just following what the advice was given in ALL Ducati Forums.

I'm a NOOB to owning a duc and being on this forum. It isn't that difficult to research without joining. What would benefit me otherwise?

Well if you asked me early June I would have advised just pay a few extra few bucks with the dealer close to you, build a relationship with him.

That dealer didn't have the bike I wanted in stock and couldn't guarantee they could order it in time for the Fast Track Program...

I was able to ask that one without being a forum member They all highly recommended the joint. So can anyone here give recommendations on local ducati service techs and/or from the selling dealer?

HHHHHMmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I will have to gather those names... the two local duc dealers are Southbay Motorsports and GP Motorcycles
out of San Diego, CA. Southbay, I already have a strong relationship with because I have previously purchased a bike from them that I still have and they are understanding that they couldn't get the bike i wanted. I of course went to them first, and waited for them to give the thumbs up to start looking elsewhere when they conceded they couldn't sell. Selling dealer is Seacoast Sport Cycle out of New Hampshire.
