New 1198 R

I just bought a 2010 1198 R. Signed the paperwork June 11, out of state purchase... and I am yet to see the bike. The dealer says they are yet have it shipped out. My first payment is due July 11, and they said it is possible that I could see the bike by then.

WTF!?!

Anyone?

How do I enforce that? and yes, I paid $650 to have the bike shipped to my home, along with everything extra the bike came with and some things I bought as well. It is also written on the "we owe" paper.

It is difficult to get him to respond to my emails of lately, as he is hesitant to send anything when there is no new updates, and yeah that isn't happening. Sometimes, with the financier, you can move the 1st payment back but Freedom Road isn't having it and the dealer is going with what FR says.

Yes, he is a dealer; only way I know to get a new 1198 R and that is what I stated in the first post. What am I to say? I am fairly certain he is aware of how upset I am ...

Well if he is a dealer call him and find out exactly where it is and tell him you want a rebate. 90% of people don't get what they want bacause they don't ask. Don't rip his head off just negotiate. Could be something instead of a payment, jacket gloves helemt. Call and find out. Worst case he says no.

If that were a realistic option... He is ~3,500+ Miles away...

That would be crazy if the nearest duc dealer was 3,500 miles away; but he is not the nearest dealer. Nearest dealer is ~20 miles away. They should suffice, but alas I haven't asked how qualified the service tech is. I'll get that far if/whenever my bike does make it here
