Now you guys have me thinking about getting the Full exhaust system. I installed the slips on my 848 with no problem. How much more difficult is the Full system?

After the install of either one I'll have the dealer tune it up.

This link should help, it requires one modified wrench and a bit of time, but clearly is doable by most mechanically inclined owner

When tuning the PC3 or whatever system you get make sure it was (tuned) on a dyno. Most dealers cannot properly tune it to get the fueling/bogging issues out.

I had my bike tuned by Mickey Cohen motors in Placentia CA

I'd suggest a set of slip on Arrows and tuning at the first service, Termignoni is way overrated and overpriced, the sound and performance of the Arrows on a Duc is over and above Termis, I have Termi slip ons on the 1198S bc it came with it otherwise I wouldn't!
$.02!

I can't find any charts that states the difference but
I've read plenty of posts from people that have been brainwashed into buying Termi systems just to find out that the bike only pulled a handfull of HP compared to stock set up. Some others loved them, and others had nothing but problems from the time they tried to fit the system to the tine the bottom pipe split wide open under heat and pressure. (Ducati.ms, Ducati Superbikes.com to name a couple).
As I stated, that was only my opinion, I've had Termi full system on my Tricolore, slip ons on my Corse, Arrow on my S4Rs and Streetfighter, my opinion on this matter is that Arrow sounds and performs better, without using extra ECUs, just a proper tuning, also the price to achieve this result is far from what Termi would hit you with.
Again, this is just my opinion!

Thanks neda, that is a good write-up. Even if I decide on the slips it is interesting to see the full install.

Yep, it has already started. I'm not planning too many mods, the bike is sweet right out of the box.

Thanks s4bones. Did you get the PC3 because of the bogging or would you have gotten it anyway. I've never used a power commander before, how useful is it?

The "lugging" that you describe so to speak is primarily caused by the flapper valve. Spend $35 to get rid of it & you wont believe the difference. I recently installed Arrow slip ons & I am considering taking them off as my 1098S ran really good after taking the flapper off. In stock exhaust trim the bike got louder in very good way.

You can buy the plate here:

I have also recently installed a FatDuc O2 manipulator but don't have any miles on it after I installed it but I have only heard positive things about the FatDuc.
