congrats Felipe,...i have 2010 1198s in red...now Plan 4 your mods ..

Felipe January 30th, 2011 05:28 AM

prince Albert:any suggestions 4 mods?

La Rossa January 30th, 2011 06:27 AM

A MUST:
Get rid of the cats and get a set of slip ons, I'd raccomend Arrows, cheaper, no need for additional ECU's, raspier sound, better built......or a full system if you can afford it.
29mm Oberon clutch slave
Fabbri DB wind screen
Lightech rearsets
Sargent seat
Custom LED super brite tail light with integrated turn signals
These are only my own preferences......
Why did you sell the SF if you don't mind me asking?

Felipe,.. La Rossa nailed it..i would maybe add to the equation : 14T Front sprocket and 39T rear sprocket to get the riding ratios bearable for daily use especially below 4000 rpm.I have always been a big fan of slipper clutches regardless if you are tracking the bike or not.Finally,. Crash protection,.Axle sliders and under body sliders ....These are just my preferences.,others may say different...

Great bike and congrats again Felipe.

Exquisite taste....

I echo many of the mods stated by other members. Personally I think the Sargent seat is a little overrated.....I just took mine down to the local upholstery shop had them add an extra 1/4 in of padding and cover with distressed leather $37 looks cool works good but thats just me. Did the 14T front sprocket, clutch slave, Arrows (ceramic coated).

You might also check out bar-end mirrors you can really see with those things.

Ride Safe...Enjoy :smoking: Very Cool Bike.

Golden list, just add he flapper valve removal mod to it & your bike will have finally begun to breath the way it should.

thanks all!!!
exhaust is my "first must". "termignoni fan" w/db killer.
i was at the track and need rearsets.
seat is find 4 me.
maybe a slipper cluth...ducati sound.
clutc slave is ONLY for a softer clutch?
i sold the streetfighter because i can't afford 60K in bikes...jajaja

Congats on the new bike, Just an opportunity for me to throw this out there again. If you purchase the Ever Red service plan (Not an Extended Warranty which eleminates magnuson Moss from the equation) any mods at all other than exact stock OEM parts render this police invalid.

Off subject sorry but again just an opportunity... Enjoy

TRN January 31st, 2011 09:21 AM

Congrats on the purchase!
