the bike that rossi had on the test wasn't the 1198sp... but the 1198 of the 2011 of the wsbk teams.

you can see many many differences

1)magnesium wheels
2)racing tank
3)racing ohlins front end
4)wsbk traction control
5)carbon fairing with closed lower fairing
6)racing slipper clutch
7)racing brembo clutch and brake pump - lever
and many many more...

this was just the painting same as 1198sp
a trik to sell 1198sp all over the world!

that is not the "normal" 70mm termi...it's the RS one.
you can see how much bigger the holes of the slip-ons are...

Ya it was heavily modified. Many things on it Corse.

No is not.
It's a replica of the WSBK like the one that Haga or Fabrizio use to compete.
Yea I was also surprised that a high caliber rider will settle for an SP version.
Not that is bad tho.
