Thumbs up Views/Reviews about eBay Carbon Fiber Fairings

Hi people,,, my first post here....!

I have just bought a 1098S with a bit of damage to fairings and few other cosmetic bits.....

Am just in the process of securing parts for it to restore it to its former glory if not better than that,,!!

While looking at used fairings on eBay, I have come across few sellers from US selling aftermarket carbon fiber bodywork which looks quite appealing.... Was just wondering if any of you guys have bought/used these fairings??

If so,, what are your views about the quality of these vs OEM fairings
?

For example::

18 negative feedbacks on quality and 4 neutral feedbacks within twelve months sounds about right for most E bay carbon .
Pay the extra go with quality carbon fibre

That thing is supposed to be one piece. I don't know how you would mount it.

There is a carbon importer on this site that is in OZ. I don't know how good he is but if you PM him maybe he'll cut you a deal.

Think his name is Carbon Imports or something like that.

Shift Tech here in the states is the all around favorite for carbon.

you only get what you pay for, cannot see this piece being of any quality at all with the price it's showing now...

PM me and we'll go from there...

thanks DB..

I bought a heat shield carbon piece from tekarbon from ebay and of course i had to modify it because the screw holes didnt match up on my full termi exhaust. be wary. luckily this piece was cheap but if it was a fairing, i wouldn't have settled.
ill see if i can get a picture
heres the link to it
