Ok guys i recently had this error and people have been looking for this pick up sensor well after 5 hours of research i finally found it.
In picture #1 you can see this is the left side of the bike. This is the Timing pick-up sensor here In picture #2 this is is the hole where it goes. double check the quality of these o rings In picture #3 After cleaning the sensor re-grease only the tip of the sensor In picture #4 Fitment of the sensor back into the crackcase In picture #5 position the 0.6mm shim *NOTE: if replaceing the sensor you will have to take the side of the crankcase off and measure the air gap between the sensor and the teeth on the timing gear. The distence between the timing gear and the sensor should be between .8 and .6 mm *NOTE: I am not responsible for voiding/ or blowing up of any engines.

It took you 5hrs to find the pickup sensor?OK
You dont need to lube the end of the sensor, first oring will simply wipe it off and there will be nothing on it when it hits the second ring.Better to smear grease down the hole to help it ease through the o rings. You dont need to remove the side cover to set the gap. There are a couple of ways to do it without resorting to that depending on the equipment you have available. Ciao |

I agree.... Just those are pic's and instructions from the workshop manual... sorry but you do a google search for pick up sensor 34.0 error and see if you can find the sensor... this is just here to save someone the time it took me.
All of that info is from the Workshop manual. And you will have to remove the side cover if you are REPLACING the sensor with a new one. To measure the correct air gap from timeing gear to tip of NEW sensor
