Ducati Sales Rise up 61% In The Second Quarter

If you are in the business, you understand, those are huge numbers. Specially with the economy in the USA on it's ass you would think people can not spend a dime on a exotic, thoroughbred Italian machine like Ducati but people don't give a damn and are putting down payments on the desk and getting that five year loan.

Along with the Ducati Diavel, Ducati has other bikes to thank such as the Ducati 848 EVO, 1198 and definitely not least, MTS1200. With these sales Ducati is taking all that to the bank of Bologna (the home of Ducati in Italy) and they are mostly using that money wisely to make more and better exotics, such as the long awaited Duati 1199.

The CEO of Ducati Cristiano Silei says, “We are extremely excited about our potential for the rest of 2011 with the Monster 1100EVO joining our formidable product line-up as summer hits full swing. In light of this continued success we will be strengthening our organization for the 2012 model year.”

now are the production numbers the same as in the years past or more??

I think they have cut back production in recent years, so while it is great that they are selling more.....they are really not selling more.
