Sorry Axntrance for the ticket you could have fought that. I had a full thread on the plate location subject a year ago on another site and the law says "none about specifics on plate location." Quote, “as long as it's visible an unobstructed.” Confirmed with CHP and County guys who checked for us and at best it's a fix it ticket if he's a jerk according a local cop! I had mine at the same location for 3.5 years (749 and now)

Maybe so but that’s not what they told me on the phone yesterday. They said that the only thing that makes it limited is the fact that they sell it directly through them because of markup. I guess they can’t discount it as much as there other FE to make the dealers happy or something… They claim that it will cont. to be produced but not sold through distributors.

I get enough attention with the full termis w/out db killers, no need for added attraction.

Hey guys, im loving all the indicators in behind the grill, the one question i have is what is the visibility angle, it would mean so much to me if someone could measure it, i need at least 80 degrees to the outside if that makes sence, so stright back and then 80 degrees to the right for the right indicator and left for the left, if someone could measure it that would be fantastic, i'd love to buy one, but cops in my area hate mod'd bikes,

I do not light my plate if I relocate it. Why do I want to HELP the coppers to see my plate? cyccon has a nice LED turn signal kit that cleans up the rear end real nice, doesn't put the plate all the way under the seat, though. I had the turn signals in the vents on my 996. Most people I rode with, said they were hard to see from behind.

Problem with that here in PA is first it would not pass inspection and secondly that is the reason I would get pulled over.
