No more stalling

Hey yall, my 1098 stalled twice in the 2 months that I had it. I took it to a shop in Las Vegas where I live and the mechanic told me he would adjust the cylinders and remove the charcoal can. He said the cylinders were not equally firing because the bike came from Cali where the temperature is much cooler. Suffice to say, I have ridden in 105 temps. in stop and go traffic and no stalling in 250 miles. when it did stall, it was in extreme heat and stop and go. So far, so good and keeping fingers crossed.

Twice in 2 months is pretty good ,mine at one point was stalling at least 3 times at every traffic light.

Sorry to hear that. Try the cylinder tuning and removing the charcoal can. The can apparently is only there for Cali emissions and could cause an air fuel leak.

It is on the right side. There are links all over the net on how to remove it and plug the vacuum leaks. Give it a shot or let your mechanic do it for you and let me know how it goes.
