1098S clutch safety washer - which way?

For the concave washer behind the clutch hub nut, which way does it go? i dropped it along with the nut and can't remember if it's installed curved inward (like a saucer plate) or outward (upside down saucer plate).

here's what i mean by concave vs. convex. for simplicity, imagine the hub is on the left side and the clutch hub nut on the right so i'm trying to figure out which way it goes

hub clutch hub nut

or

hub clutch hub nut

been searching the web for 1.5 hours and can't find it. manual doesn't say the direction. but i'm thinking it's the 1st orientation where it's curved inwards (saucer) because of the wear marks on the bush.
those marks won't be there if it's the 2nd orientation or it'll be a thinner one? not sure how much the washer will flatten as torque is applied to the clutch hub nut.

but as i read about conical/belleville washers, the proper orientation is the cone is towards the bolt (orientation 2).
