Out of commission, questions about Shift-Tech carbon lower...

The weather in VA was beautiful this weekend, but I only got to enjoy it on the 1098 Saturday. Why you may ask? Well, becuase I spent most of the rest of the holiday in a rum bottle. My buddy dropped her. Fluke u-turn f**k up, but the end result is she's out of commission for a bit. The following needs to be replaced...

Left mid fairing
Lower fairing
Clutch lever
Bar end
Left peg
Shifter
Both mirrors
Side stand

Makes me sick at my stomach, but I know it could have been much worse. No damage to the tail, termis, swing arm, wheels or forks.

So, since the lower is being replaced anyway I was thinking I may foot the additional money and get the Shift-Tech carbon lower. I'm interested in hearing from those who have them, especially Guido and Visitor Q since his just got put on. Is it worth the money? Looks? Fit? Should I expect the same clearance problems with my Termi pipes?

Lemme know guys, want her back together as soon as possible...

I got paint codes from Ducati. Problem is, they use "Palini" paint ?? My paint guy is still trying to figure out how to mix it.

My buddy. Normally don't let others ride my bikes, but he's the best rider I know. Just one of those things.

Don't rub salt in the wound...

Anyone with input on the carbon lower?

Really sorry to hear about this but thank God you did not bang the swingarm etc.. Pieces like that are not so easy to replace, that’s for sure!

You right, I just installed my CF lowers last week but mine did not come from Shift-Tech, God I wish they did. They came from that $hithole company eMotoUK who I do not recommend buying from, I won’t rehash the details. Guido seems like a stand up guy and I have heard great things about his business and products, he seems to very honest as well. As I said before, I don’t plan on buying CF anywhere else but from him in the future. Infact I am considering a purchase right now even though I wish he would get those damn tail sections back in with the trunk! Oh well, not his fault but I hope he has me in mind when he does get them. hint, hint

I’d say go for it! Those bellypan’s look slick and even if mine is not from Shift-Tech, it still looks pretty cool!

You will probably get a quicker response if you PM VisitorQ or Guido directly.

Edit: Nevermind. Visitor Q sees all.

Jason, thanks for your response. I'm literally on the phone with the parts guy having to make a decision. Getting the carbon lower from Shift-Tech.

Good Deal. Tell Guido to just PayPal me my usual commission rate when you order.
