Would You Buy it

I lived in south padre island tx for 10 months, ocean front and rode my 696 daily with no adverse reactions. The humidity and heat were almost unbearable. I would have to rinse off my windshield on my truck before I drove because the sea spray covered the windows and you couldn't see anything. Wipers did nothing. Sunglasses fogged up immediately just by walking outside. Cool experience to say I lived on a island by myself when I was young but I would never go back.

Well if I wasnt born and raised in Ohio and didn't know what it was like I would think about it. BUTTTTTTTT after living up north for 30 years I don't even fly North for 6 months a year just to avoid the cold.

I moved my family from PA to the Crystal Coast of NC south of the Outer Banks , We like 5 minute from the Ocean not very harsh , I grow up on the water all my life and seen the salt air effect on our house growing up and on my dad car ..I traded the mountain , best riding roads ever for the Ocean , I ran away from 18" of snow to a 40 degree winter .. I miss riding every day after work but oh well ..

I narrowed it down out of the top 2 runners to The the Yellow 2008 1098 ( i never owned that color Before) I feel the Red which is the 2nd favorite bike is very common color and its missing few simple stuff but to me reflect /translate as big things for only 3500 miles bike:

The pros

Come with less BS story , Straight forward sale from talking to the owner

Low miles ( 4,500)
Priced well and room to Neg
Never been molested
comes with spare key and card
new tires
Great color
Termi Exhaust ( slip on's)
2 owner
Smoked windscreen
solo seat
Bike cover

Cons:
No stands
No passenger pegs
No Rear seat

Hope tomorrow things work out for this one

Should it alert any one if the title Show duplicate?

Also the Sticker on the frame has been removed from both sides the one by the tank ( Is it for cleaner look or that could be for hidden reason )

Cleaner look usually. I think the frame number is stamped near the steering stem

Brought the Yellow 1098 Home ...

Real happy with the bike .The way it rides , handles for the short time i rode it . The Termi sound amazing , deep throaty.

Needs a new front fresh tire ,and customize it to make it my own .Need to flush and replace all the fluids and check all bolts and nuts ...

Thanks every one for your help
