Late winter update to the bike

Hey gents,

I'll be creating a mono tail for the 1198 I have and currently it has the biposto setup, which as you know is standard for our bikes. The question is, I will be putting a 1098r/1198r tail fairing on and I'm thinking I want to have a ease of swapping things and just put a lightweight subframe on the bike with that mono tail. So what are some good ones to use for a street bike that maintains the function of a taillight and signals and such. Current setup is included in pics along with the new tail that is going to be painted to match the 1198R corse theme.

I'll also be swapping out the bolts with titanium and was wondering if anyone had done the rearset bolts on titanium as well.

Sinister likes this.

Also, incase you have already noticed the R tail uses different spacers to mount the tail light then the non R.

Sure hope so. The other R tail should be showing up soon, it'll be going to the paint guy ASAP and then it's mono time. Also, just found a R frame that might get swapped next month or so. Super late, but hope it's done by COTA if I go that route.

Are you going to paint it the Corse Scheme or something different?

Yup, it'll be the R corse theme fella. Just needed to get a mono tailpiece.
