More than likely slip ons, the full system is catagorized as race only must be way loud don't need a ticket and then have to remove the system. Would the slip on require any sort of tunning or are they plug and play?

i have a full system and it totally kicks ass. Yes it is loud but i've had it on the bike for 5000 miles and have not received a ticket for it. It looks beautiful and sounds great. I have a race ecu and pcm111 on it also. I am located in santa cruz california if you are close your welcome to check it out

yeah, he means PCIIIUSB. With the full system and race ecu a PCIII is a good idea for tuning purposes. For slip-ons, the bikes stock ecu and lambda sensor will handle the different breathing just fine. I have had mine checked on a dyno and it stayed right between 13-14:1 with the cats removed and the baffles removed. Bike runs fine and is LOUD. But I too have fallen prey to the mod madness and am awaiting a set of Akro slip-ons as we speak. Good luck.

Full system cost to high to justify. decided on the slip ons. Will there be any additional tuning required?

Take a look at the Arata Ti full system. Excellent welds and makes the most power of anything out there particularly around 5000 rpm. The tips of the mufflers are old school but they're working on different end caps. I'm really thinking of selling my full Termis and getting the Arata's. around $2300.00 from Dan Kyle.

Look's like Kyle has a good price I've seen them listed for $700 more at parts unlimited. Still not clear whether or not any additional parts are necessary. ECU...PCIII

half system still requires the ECU + air filter + adjustment at the shop, or it will run rough
