1199 Display Change

Hello,
I have 2012 Panigale 1199 and after theft I have missing instrument cluster.
I bought used cluster. The bike is running perfect but "UNKNOWN DEVICE" light is on the display now.
Does anyone knows what to do?
Thank You,
Andrey

"UNKNOWN DEVICE" suggests software compatibility issues. How about trying an ECU reset? ...free, easy, won't hurt anything, nothing to lose... give it a try.

1. Disconnect battery for 10 minutes.
2. Reconnect battery.
3. Turn the ignition to the "On" position (do not start engine) for 30 seconds.
4. Turn ignition to the "Off" position.
5. Turn ignition on again and start the engine.

Hey... sorry it didn't help. When you finally get it sorted out post the cure... always good to know.

My Ducati dealer wants to buy new cluster from them and they will program it...
This is extortion...
One guy told me to reset the BBS Unit but I don't know how to...?
If anyone knows how to reset the Ducati Black Box let me know.
Thank You!

If yours is 1199 then this dash is from a 1199s.

And yes they are different due to the electronic ohlins.
