Different shades of red on Ducati 1199 Panigale

Just picked up this 2012 1199 Panigale ABS from RumbleOn, the lower fairings are two-tone, red and black (painted), the red is also a different shade from the rest of the bike.

Any idea what bike they're off of? The red is different from the rest of the bike, maybe an 1199R? Are there different reds available?

About to scour eBay for some lower fairings that'll match the bike. If there's only one red for the 1199 that's great, otherwise, which red do I need?

Right. The lower fairings are not original to the bike.

So my question again, is whether or not different models of the 1199 use different shades of red.

eg is the Panigale R, Tricolore, etc. the same exact red as an 1199 Panigale ABS?

Only 1 original Panigale red. Other than minor fading, all reds should be the same if its original Ducati part. Base model, S and R are all the same color.

It's likely to have been either repainted or from a third part manufacturer then.

I'd guess it's been repainted as it was scuffed/repaired. might have done a track day and gone straight into a gravel trap. Are the wheels in good condition without any stone chips?

Or it's just had a boot rub on it and they've had to repaint it to remove the boot marks.

So, Rosso Red and Corsa Red were both offered on the 1199, and are also distinct from "Ducati Red" which has a different paint code.

Corsa red appears to be the slightly more 'orange' red on my lower fairings, while the rest of the bike is "Rosso".
